auditionees will sing with an accompanist and dance on stage.
Those trying out for a specific role will also read.
ÿ
If
you are auditioning for a specific part, you will need to prepare the
following:
o
Prepare
to sing the music listed below for the specific character
o
Prepare
to read the script sections listed below for the specific character
o
Prepare
to sign the Start Spangled Banner as your character might sing it
o
For
some roles, the Director will ask you to harmonize with other
auditionees
ÿ
If
you are auditioning for the chorus, you will need to prepare the
following:
o
Prepare
to sing the Star Spangled Banner
o
Prepare
one of the Chorus songs listed below
ÿ
Wear
shoes and clothes that are comfortable for dancing.
ÿ
Bring
a non-returnable photo of any size or pay $1 for a Polaroid picture at
auditions.
ÿ
Cast
members will be required to attend all show dates, be available the
entire week of March 16th, and will only be allowed to miss 3
rehearsal dates.
ÿ
Rehearsals
take place Monday – Thursday evenings from approximately 7:00 – 9:30
pm. We try to keep
rehearsals for children under 14 to 2 – 3 nights per week.
